Libraries, albums and photos

Draft, published, hidden, archived

The status decides whether recipients see a library, an album or a gallery at all.

The statuses

  • Draft — where everything starts. Recipients don't see it.
  • Published — visible to recipients whose link opens it.
  • Hidden — pulled back for a while. Recipients neither see it in their library nor open it — a direct address answers “not found”, exactly as for a draft — and everything inside goes with it. It stays on your lists in Studio, its links are not revoked, and “Published” brings it back on the same links.
  • Archived — out of circulation: recipients don't see it and it leaves the default lists in Studio. Restore it from the Archive view; it comes back as a draft.
  • Deleted — kept for 7 days in “Recently deleted” on its list, then gone together with its photos. Restored, it comes back as a draft; what was deleted with it keeps its status.

Good to know

  • Recipients see a gallery only when the gallery, its album and its library are all published.
  • Change the status with the line under the title, or with “Publish” in the header.
  • A status never revokes links: once something is published again, the same links show it again.
