How it works
The password belongs to the link, not to the library or the album. Two links to the same library can have different passwords — or none.
Set it while creating the link (“Protect the link with a password”), or later from the link's menu in Shares.
Good to know
- Send the password another way than the link — the link by e-mail, the password by text or by phone.
- A saved password is never shown again; if it's forgotten, set a new one.
- Activity notes every wrong password and every unlock.
- The permanent link of a link asks for the same password.
