Delete your account
Polski · Updated 3 September 2026
This page is for people who created a ShutterID account (in the ShutterID app or at library.shutterid.com) to keep the photo libraries their photographer shared with them. Deleting the account is immediate and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
In the app
- Open the ShutterID app and tap your account (top right).
- Scroll down and tap Close my account.
- Confirm. You are signed out and the account is deleted right away.
In the browser
- Open any library link at library.shutterid.com and sign in.
- Open the account menu → Account → Close my account.
By e-mail
Write to damian@echotxmx.com from the address you signed in with (or tell us which Apple/Google account you used). We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by e-mail.
What is deleted
- Your account, your display name and your e-mail address.
- Your sign-in methods (Apple, Google, e-mail) and all sessions.
- The libraries pinned to your account, with the personal access links they were opened through (the links are revoked).
- Your phones registered for notifications.
- Your "opened" / "saved" marks and the licence acceptances recorded on the account.
What is kept
- What you gave a photographer. A name or e-mail you entered for a photographer before downloading, and comments or reactions you left under their photos, belong to that photographer's gallery records — they stay there, with the same photographer, so they can keep track of who received their work. Ask the photographer to remove them, or write to us and we will.
- Security logs of the photographer's library (what was opened or downloaded through a link, and when). They contain no name or e-mail after the account is deleted.
- Backups of our database expire automatically within 30 days; deleted data is not restored from them.
Photographers using ShutterID Studio: your studio workspace is separate from a client account. To close it, write to the address above.
